Treat yourself: Syntopia’s sensational suites revealed

With 41 square metres to rest, pamper yourself and play in, our spacious suites offer the ultimate Syntopia experience.

Incorporating the hotel’s hallmark boho/ethnic design and a restful colour scheme of pastel creams and grey-blue, with light timber veneered flooring (delightfully smooth for barefeet), Syntopia’s suites were conceived for comfort and maximum relaxation.  A super comfy king-size bed with crisp cotton bed linen and a separate day bed complete the picture, all set in Syntopia’s hallmark interior decor – an immersion in warm timber surfaces and furnishings, weaved fabrics and natural fibres.

Ethnic-patterned pillows, woven baskets and rugs (offering a hint of south east asian and north african motifs), cosy neutral toned linens and rattan pendant lights, combine in the fresh design philosophy that underpins Syntopia’s look and feel.

Two particular woods have been chosen for the exterior and interior areas. In our suites, ’holm’ oak (drys as it’s known in Greek) is used extensively for the major furnishings and fittings, making our premier guest rooms warm and intimate. Native to Crete, this is a wood found widely across the island and imbued with Cretan natural energies, perfectly complimenting our exterior spaces, which use chestnut, (castanea) – a timber hewn from the forests of Mount Athos in northern Greece.

With the furnishings and features adding gentle and uplifting warmth, floor-to-ceiling sliding windows ensure each suite is light as well as airy. Opening onto an extensive balcony facing north, our suite-dwellers have a bird’s eye view of the seductive Syntopia pool and beyond. Each suite comprises an LG brand 42’ flat screen TV with an interactive entertainment system carrying the top international  channels.

A Nespresso machine, mini-bar, cosy bathrobes and Syntopia-branded slippers are all part of the package, along with free wifi. And if you want that little bit of extra intimate privacy in the morning or at any time of day for that matter, no worries; housekeeping are always happy to drop by later.
